Thumbs up Had my truck detailed today

This week at work I sort of twinged my back. So,detailing the truck was not in my weekend plans. As I was leaving the store this morning I saw a sign advertising a new detail shop.I checked them out and was surprised to see BMWs,Mercedes,Caddys, etc there being detailed.I asked for a price sheet and they only gave verbal quotes.Wash and interior vacuum, wipe the dash, door jambs $25.00.Claybar $20.00.Wax/polish $25.00.So,for $70.00 they washed, clayed, waxed my truck! Wow,what a job they did! It looks awesome! I might just start going there as a regular customer!

BTW,I put $10.00 in the tip bucket!

Wow, must be nice to have a clean truck. Here in Houston it has been raining forever. We are technically, 'no longer in drought.'

7th wettest July on record now, still got a couple more days also.

Auto Majic. The claybar was a green color.I think the soap was some kind of cherry brand. And the wax/polish was a blueish gray thick liquid.
The guys doing the detail work did not speak English;the owner spoke broken English, enough to understand him. But,they did an excellent job!

Thats way way cheap. A detail around me in Cbus, OH is atleast 100 and that usually does not include Claying. I just clayed mine last weekend and what a differnce clay and cleaner wax makes.

Its funny though because 1hr north in my hometown a full detail is only like 50bux, claybaring maybe 25 extra..... Prices are just totally random.
