Interior detailing with 303- do I need to?

I have an 04 FX4 with the dark charcoal/pebbley dash and interior door pamels. Should I use 303 on those surfaces? I started using 303 on extreior trim and tires and really like the satin/natural look. I know it's expensive but this forum educates you that it's only the best for your truck. I am really interested in UV/sun protection, low shine, and easier cleanup since I do get it dirty. Also, what about the light gray/silver dash portions that are harder and smoother - are they painted metal (or vinyl covered) and should they be treated too?

I just use it everywhere, except for the tires. I like having that UV protection

Why not tires too, is there something better? Sounds like I am a go on all my interior surfaces and it won't be shiny, sticky, or slick. I guess I am starting to use it on everything too, just started messing with the boat. I offered to do my neighbor's bald head, told him how expensive it is, he was not impressed.

I prefer the shinier, wet look on my tires.

I think the 303 works better on the interior.

303 Questions

Used 303 on all the interior vinyl & plastic. Rubbed it in good with MF towels. Nice, satin, deep results on the charcoal & grey.
How long should it last & do I have to repeat?
What about upkeep, it streaks from rain on the outside rubber, so do you have to keep water or a damp towell away from it on the interior?
Will a liquid spill disolve or spot it requiring reapplication?
I just read that it is water based, is that why it will streak when wet.

I used it on the hull of an Old Town canoe made of Royalex/Oltonar (poly something I guess) Old Town website to use 303 or AA for UV protection. Looked great until it rained, then it streaked, reapplied a little and massagged it in. Have not had it in the water yet so I wonder if it will hold up.

I've been using this product for years inside and out and have not had the running problem that some have talked about. I wonder if some are applying to much. A little goes a loooong way. 303 is the only tire product that I've found that does not grab all the dust from the dirt roads I travel.

Good to hear it stays put on the interior. How often do you have to reapply? You may be right on exterior running because too much is applied. I know there are places around the trim where water collects and then runs out so 303 may be be collecting in the same spots. Will keep a sharp eye on them. I don't mind it so much on exterior because it gets dirty -so I wash it. The interior stuff is so putsy and I want to minimize repeating it.

I keep my truck pretty clean so I don't have to use it very often on the interior. One thing that's very nice about 303 is that it does not build up after repeated applications. I've used 303 on all the exterior trim of my 2003 since it was new and I'm happy to report that the trim has not faded at all! Mine stays outside in the elements 24/7!
