Just your normal Sat night in Keller
The C&D section has been very active as of late.
Today marked 40 days since I got my paint on my new front fender, I got the wild hair to detail the beast.
Right now I am giving the EX-P time to set up and haze a little.
Today did yet another 100% poorboys detail including the wash.
So far I have, washed, clayed, SSR3 on tough spots, then SSR 2.5 on a few others, and the entire truck in SSR1 followed by EX-P.
Next will be Nattys Red.
Here is a sneak peak before i ran out of light
About to go out to the garage and take off the Nattys now
Cheers
JP

I am going to get up early and hyperdress the undercarraige and wheels, wheel wells then get the over spray off, windows...then done.
For F150Sport (Ryan) I used the new DA to break it in. Works great.

So that is why I had to use the SSR1....
Will get some photos in the sun after I am finished. Cheers
(PS, RP you know that deep scratch I was bitching about on my tail gate? Well my red megs cut pad and some SSR3 took it out.)

Glad to hear that you got it out!

Using SSR3 has the potential to "haze" the surrounding areas. That will need to be progressively worked out by using SSR2 or SSR1 the straight polish.
On the hard areas, what I do is take my normal yellow or white cut pad off and put on the red megs cut and work on that area...after that I go back to the yellow and breakdown less aggressive product.
The method I am doing on trouble spots is prob not the best recommend method but I really watch what I am doing and take my time and check it often.
Good point RP.
EDIT SSR3 can be used on the entire vehicle when using by hand...there is less cut with that method, just FYI)

We both could get your truck done in 8 hours or so.

Seriously if we can find some time, I know Ryan would love to help, I have two DA's and 3 sets of pads.
Forgot to mention, there is a 5X Benjamin Franklin surcharge for SKINS fans.

It could be a mini North Texas detailing GTG.
