Windows trim black fades??

Does anyone elses truck around the window the black trim seem to fade?? Ive tried armor all and reguardless it seems to fade to whiteish/chaulk look and doesnt stay solid black! I hate it, does this happen to all trucks or is it just mine? Its a 2005 model.

Thanks!

Same problem here. I'm going to try some of the "Bondo dye stuff" from Wal-Mart. Everything else I've tried just hides the fading for a little while.

I don't think I would try it on the rubber around the glass. It does not soak in, it dries on the surface. Works ok as a coverup on the rails and maybe fender flares, but don't think I would use anywhere else.

The only thing I found recently was the thread below however I didnt see anything that alot of people have tried and worked. Most seem to be on older trucks which one would think a truck 2 years old shouldnt have this issue.

Hey, i was having trouble with the window moulding and other plastics such as the mirror and wiper cowls. I went to my auto store and got Mothers Back to Black. Worked great. Im sure its something that you have to keep up on to have it look good all the time. Heres a link
