Paint finish vs. cement board

Tried to squeeze between the house and the truck the other night and thought about the jagged piece of cement board sticking out of the trash can a split second too late.

Scratches seem fairly deep, they can be felt with the thumbnail. They appear white on a blue truck. Probably down to the color if not primer.

Seems to me a person would want to "fill" the scratches with color, than do what ever to make it as un-noticable as possible.

Suggestions??

I have the same thing, my truck is blue and one day I woke up for work and I had a deep scratch about 5 inches long where the metal is even bent into the scratch on my drivers side above the rear tire...only thing I have done is fill it with color to hide it alittle. im afraid ill need to take it to a body shop
