Exclamation Super glue on my bumper

I couldnt think of anywhere to post, so i suppose this will do. Long story short, theres a small amount of super glue on my front bumper. Is there any way to remove the glue without damaging the paint or fading it at all? I dont want to try anything till I am sure that it will work. I know a fingernail polish remover works on getting super glue off hands, i just dont wanna put that on my truck because im pretty sure it will fade it. Any help guys will be much appreciated. tia

This may sound like a REALLY goofy question but, do you know what brand super glue? I promise that there's a method to the madness with that question...

Chemical composition... While my line of questioning may end up being absolutely fruitless, once we know the chemical composition, we may be able to go after it a bit more effectively.

Also, I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

Huh?

Yeah, it's for after work... because I travel like a madman. Mind you, I have almost 200,000 miles on Northwest Airlines right now... 3 free trips on Southwest, 45,000 on Delta....

Lest we forget, nearly 125,000 points with ICI Hotels (Holiday Inn Express) and my OWN personal "SIMPLY SMART" bathroom complete with HI-EX Shower Head and curved shower curtain rod. No. Really. I do.

Hrrm...

We've got a Chemical Engineer on staff at our office but, I won't see him until next week. I will give it a look tomorrow at work. Not sure I'll be able to help but, I'm going to try... this is definitely a new one.

well i might give that a try. i hope it works. if not i guess i can go up to the dealership and see what they suggest other than a new bumper, which i have a feeling is what they will say. always trying to make a dam buck. if anyone else has any suggestions, feel free to chime in.

I was under the impression that plain water will remove most types of CA. Now, that won't hurt to try.

Flagship (Who maybe should have stayed at a HI Express)

CA glue

I use a lot of CA glue in my model airplane hobby, stinky stuff but it's great.

They make a fluid called "debonder" that will loosen CA glues but I have no idea what it will do to paint. Doesn't hurt the skin though so it may be OK. I'd definatly test it first. You can find it in your local hobby shop.

Let us know if it works.
