I agree, I'm a big fan of the product. Wipers are a drag.
Semi-interesting story... I'm at the local Murphy's gas station in front of the Wal-Mart in my '05 KR, filling up from a 1/8 tank of gas, so I'm there for awhile. Another fella, slightly older than me (I'm 32), pulls up in the adjacent stall in his brand new '07 Lariat. I don't even think he noticed me or my truck. Anyway, as I'm standing there, I throw him a compliment.
"Nice truck," I said. He says "Thanks" and then notices I'm in an F-150 also.
We chat for a minute about heated seats and such. Then he reaches down and grabs the filthy windshield wiper/cleaner that lives in the trash-can and proceeds to clean his windows. They were in bad shape, obviously no Rain X. No problem, it certainly made his windows cleaner than they were before.
But when he literally started scrubbing down his driver's side door with that Wal-Mart-drive-through-unholy-filth-wannabe-squeegee ... I just had to stop talking to him.
I so wanted to hand him a MF and some QD... but I figured "why bother". He wouldn't appreciate what I was doing for him anyway.

I guess I'm the exception. I find the rain drops sliding up the windshield to be very distracting. At first I thought it would be a good idea, so I applied the product. Around town, it was fine. Then, I got on the Interstate! No way could I stand the hypnotic effect!
The product does just what is advertised though. That too is the exception!
