I use the silicon wipe that comes with my worth every penny Piaa wipers. Over six months and I can still drive down the freeway without my wipers on.

I love Rain-X. It is a lifesaver. And, it makes you a LOT safer. Plus, it is another goody to buy when at the auto parts store...

Dude yes, I used an armor all brand stuff too, all of this is excellent. I hate wipers, feel they are a distraction. So I use this in my washer solvent, apply it reguraly and LOVE IT>

I found if you use a lot you can just remove your windshield wipers. Weight savings, I shaved 1/10 off of my 1/4 mile time.

I agree, I'm a big fan of the product. Wipers are a drag.

Semi-interesting story... I'm at the local Murphy's gas station in front of the Wal-Mart in my '05 KR, filling up from a 1/8 tank of gas, so I'm there for awhile. Another fella, slightly older than me (I'm 32), pulls up in the adjacent stall in his brand new '07 Lariat. I don't even think he noticed me or my truck. Anyway, as I'm standing there, I throw him a compliment.

"Nice truck," I said. He says "Thanks" and then notices I'm in an F-150 also.

We chat for a minute about heated seats and such. Then he reaches down and grabs the filthy windshield wiper/cleaner that lives in the trash-can and proceeds to clean his windows. They were in bad shape, obviously no Rain X. No problem, it certainly made his windows cleaner than they were before.

But when he literally started scrubbing down his driver's side door with that Wal-Mart-drive-through-unholy-filth-wannabe-squeegee ... I just had to stop talking to him.

I so wanted to hand him a MF and some QD... but I figured "why bother". He wouldn't appreciate what I was doing for him anyway.

Back on topic, I'm a fan of the product.

I guess I'm the exception. I find the rain drops sliding up the windshield to be very distracting. At first I thought it would be a good idea, so I applied the product. Around town, it was fine. Then, I got on the Interstate! No way could I stand the hypnotic effect!

The product does just what is advertised though. That too is the exception!

Awesome stuff. Too bad you have to go above 50 to "activate" the rolling effect.

I always laugh at people who have their wipers on "full blast" while I'm rolling without them on.

I'm all for it. When I was 16, blew the wiper motor constantly pushing mud. So, I just relied on Rain-X. It's good poop.

I love Rain X. I found that it's best to wipe it off (once it's dry) with some windex. Seems to reduce any chance of left over haze or streaking.
