I need serious chrome polish

I should have been more clear. Rock pick certainly is correct. I would never use the steel wool on anything with a clear coat. Unfortunatley, my current wheels have a clear coat, so I won't be able to use any steel wool on them. Suck, because they looked great afterwards, however my current wheels are fairly easy to just wipe clean. Hopefully they will stay like that.

I have used Ardex chrome polish. Used it aluminum valve covers on old Jag's to modern chrome bumpers. Works AWESOME and I have to admit it smells good..
