Black Magic Tire Wet
ANy of you guys here recommend it for the tires? Read somewhere that silicone isn't very good for detailing a car but didn't specify why? Thoughts? And any ideas as to what's better? I live in Miami so I went with that one because the water based ones tend to run since it rains alot down here, but I don't want to ruin anything on the truck with it.

Through my experience i have found that the tires look "wet" for a long time. But no matter how long i let my truck sit, it throws the gel on my paint. I only used it twice but will never use it again. This is the aerosol spray foam kind though, the liquid pump bottle may yield different results.

I used to use that stuff until my brand new concrete driveway got stains on it from where the stuff ran down. Quit that, then I started spending 25 Bucks at the hand car wash place. But they put so much tire stuff on, it continues to get thrown out from the tire's turning and throwing it all over the truck for miles after I leave.
I give up!

Simple solution: Wipe down the excess a couple of hours after you apply.
I have heard decent reviews on TireWet. Personally, I prefer other things (Hyperdressing, Hot shine, Endurance Gloss, etc), but it should work.
The anti-silicone thing is only for paint as far as I know, but dont quote me on it... I just use what I know to be good...
