Exactly!

You gotta' be kidding if you think any sensible person will spend more than $100.00 for a bottle of wax.

That's absurd...

I'm a big fan of meguiers nxt wax.Its the only wax that I found that took care of all the fine swirl marks on my black ford that showed up in the sunlight and it doesn't have to be waxed every time I wash it like the others did.

nxt for a couple reasons, its the only wax i have used that you can let it dry and come back to it an hour later and still be easier then any other wax to remove, and it has the best shine of all the waxs ive tried

1. Pinnacle Souveran... It's usually around $70, but on sale now for around $50. Incredible carnauba wax. Similar durability to #26.

2. Collinite #915 Marquee De Elegance... Around $25 dollars. Extremely great looking wax and has the best durable/protection.

3. Mothers California Gold Pure Carnabua... Around $18 dollars. Another extremely good looking carnauba wax. Similar durability to #26.

To be honest, I think you would be better off spending a total of $70 and get...

Mothers Reflections Car Wax (around $16) ... apply one coat. Or wait until after January, and get the new NXT 2.0 for around the same price.

Mothers Reflections Top Coat (around $16) ... apply one or two coats (or more if you like)

Then top with Mothers Cali Gold Pure Carnauba Wax or the Collinite... apply as many coats of either as you like.

The three of them will be under $70, and your vehicle will look great and be well protected. Of course, this assumes that you have prepped your paint properly.

I think I'm going to test out the Collinite #915 Marquee De Elegance or the Pinnacle Souveran, where can you get it online? Which would be better for Black?

Theres no reason for you to come into the Detailing forum and think that there are people who won't spend a lot of money on their products. Thats absurd .. you spent a bunch of money on mods on your truck, so who has the right to say it's not absurd for you to do such a thing? It's no ones right but your own so unless you have something to contribute I don't see the point in posting garbage.

I've been wanting to get a good wax for my red truck, #26 is what I'm used too and it just doesn't do it for me, I'm looking at getting either the victoria's concours, collinite or one of the CG stuff

I really like Signature Series II. Ive tried DP MaxWax and Im not too crazy about it. The durability of Souveran Paste is pretty poor. Some others worth trying that I havent tried are PB Nattys Blue, Victoria, and CG Petes 53.
