Another pinstripe question...

I have a buddy that owns a detail shop, I purchase it right off the truck that sells to him.
Get in good with your local detailer even if it's just for advice on products.
I swing in on the day the supplier is there or I'll call the shop and ask the owner if he'll grab my order on a I.O.U.
Pretty sweet deal for me, I have access to all the latest and greatest.
Meg has great products as well, you just need to find someone to help you out with choosing products and your set
Problem is off the bat your truck is Black, a tan line left by pinstripes is going to be a tough one to blend out in black paint.
Not saying it can't be done it depends on how bad the tan line is.
Get yourself a copy of the detailers guide that is on here, get yourself set up with the right kit. (you don't need all the fancy stuff, good ol elbow grease can still make for a great finish!!)
Don't be scared to attempt this on your own, only you know how **** you are about your truck, who better than the owner to detail it?

since today was the nicest day we've had in awhile and may be the nicest IN awhile, i cleaned up the truck today.
Meg's Clay Bar
Megs scratch X (didn't do a damned thing)
Megs Deep crystal system 1 paint cleaner
Megs #9 Swirl remover
Megs Showcar glaze
Megs Hitech yellow wax
not perfect and could probably do better with a DA but looks a LOT better than the screwball dealer job they did on the truck.
pics to come
