Christmas gifts

My parents/grandparents have been asking me for some Christmas ideas. I think I've been wanting a PC so I thought about hinting that to the grandparents. Of course they want to get it their selves but they're not huge as far as on-line shopping goes. Is there another PC or DA (whatever you wanna call it) that can be bought in stores? One that I can still use the pads from ADS.com. Thanks in advance.

Home Depot nor Lowes list them on their website but both of them carry Porter Cable, so I don't see any reason why they can't order it for you.

My Christmas list included...

1. PC/DA
2. A damn good Yanker/Tow line
3. My front bumper LineX'D or re-painted
4. AS Leveling Kit

I "told" my wife to get the PC. We'll see how well she "listened".

Good luck with your PC, SJ. Have a computer savvy aunt or uncle (nephew, cousin, whatever) help your grandparents order it for you.

Sorry to hijack, but does anyone see a problem with this setup. Or, would anyone change anything?

Slamma, I'd *hint* to them and leave them Rick's number (ADS owner) and tell them that they have the DA that you want... Or have a cousin/uncle/etc offer to do it for the Grandparents...

I bought my Porter Cable 7336 at Lowes a couple of years ago. I looked for it on their web site and didnt see it either. I dont know what the difference is between the 7424 and the 7336 but they look exactly the same.

Boys boys boys

I just got an interesting email from one of my "local" suppliers on there MF sale.

How is this deal....?

12 of these (16X24) for 49.99

Or 12 of these (The Awesome Towel would be $39.99 per dozen, which is over 40% off)

Since this vendor is not a sponsor of this site, you'll have to send me a PM to get the website.

I have 3 of the yellow Premiers's and I have to tell you they are incredible. F150Sport likes them too, I caught him trying to sneak one out of my garage a few weeks back.

If you don't have any product then yes, if you already have product then no.

Those are Lake Pads, not the VC ones but still lake.

If you priced that same kit out without the product I could show you a way to a similar deal but get your more pads.

95.00 for PC 7424
Full set of Lake VC pads (yellow, green, orange, white, black, blue) 55.00
backing plate, 15.00

Again if you already have product that is an average deal. If you have product, that is a bad deal.

I'm Ron Burgandyyyy?

compared to this one, I like the other one better.

Not sold on the UDM per reviews and opinions expressed here by the elders.

If you have it down to these two, the first one on ebay is better....IMHO, take that for what's it worth.

I really hope someone else chimes in on these questions.

Boss? RockPick? Gip? F150Sport? Bueller? Bueller? Thumper? Stealth?

Anyone?

Sorry its late, running out of material tonight
