I saw this same package at Pep boys.. No idea how much it cost though, because it was more than I had at the time ---> 0$

 

That crappy wheel cleaner did wonders for my rims and tires. That Hot Shine gel sucks *****. I hate it and will never use it again.

The brake dust and left over scum for the Hot Shine can off after applying the wheel cleaner. Just used the high pressure washer when I was at the car wash and no scrubbing was involved.

 

Hmmmm... I'm a little disappointed. After closer inspection, it looks like the Quick Interior Detailer, Hot Rims Wheel Cleaner, and the Hot Shine Tire Gel are NOT the new and improved versions... at least not according to the packaging.

Still a pretty good deal though. However, I'm not getting up tomorrow at 5:30 to get to Wal-Mart when they open to pick up a kit. I'm going to sleep in until 6:30, and then go.

 

GREAT! Thanks guys, now I have to go and spend even more $$$ on my truck!

Ya know what's strange? I picked up my box today, and it contained 2 bottles of the NXT 2.0, and 3 bottles of the UQD......... JUST KIDDING!

Anyhow, I'll pass off the old version of the Hot Shine and Quick Interior Detailer to my son.

 

FYI I looked in my area last week and was not in the local Walmart. Went back today and it was there. This is in Chino Hills California.

 

Over at Meguiars online they have a thread that shows which Walmart's have the kit in stock. Might save you a trip to go have a look.

Are you sure it's the same kit? I saw one in the paper and it wasn't the same contents as the Walmart one.

This isn't a plug for any auto parts stores, but if you live in the Dallas/Ft Worth area, ya might want to run over to the Pep Boys on the President George Bush Turnpike and I35E in Carrollton! They are having a store closing sale and right now I believe that much of the car detailing products are between 30% - 50% off retail price!! Hurry, because there probably won't be much left here in the next few days. I purchased $80 worth of product, clay kit, wax, MF towels, dressing, etc for about less than $50. You can piece together your own wash/detail inventory without having to buy all of the extra stuff that you don't need that come in some of these kits. The store will be open until all of the inventory is sold.

I dont know if this helps anyone but i went to my local wal-mart
and they had this kit on sale for $18.00!!
Maybe I got lucky or they are discounting it even more now.

Needless to say, i stocked up
