Pealing off pin stripes???

The pin-striping on a 6/7 year old truck will most probably leave a slight "shadow" once it's removed.

A blow dryer will work fine but, ultimately, a heat gun with different heat settings will work better. Just try getting a "rhythm" going with the removal and remember to keep your fingers close to the body of the vehicle, as oppose to pulling from afar, as to not break the pin-striping.

You *will* have ghosting and it *will* be difficult to remove.

with the ghosts can you buff them out at all or just have to give it time for them to fade into the car?

It will take 6/7 years... its just like brand new paint... its never been touched by the suns UV rays...
