Simoniz Liquid Diamond

Was just watching the Speed Channel and they had a commercial about this product Liquid Diamond.

Just wondering if anybody here has tried it. Is it worth it or a waste or $$?

Here's a link to their site.

I call snake oil. trim ,glass, and paint all have different needs. Then with not wiping anything off you'd get product buildup over time if it's actually putting something on there. I would like to get a junk hood and this stuff to try that fire thing. that's one I really throw the B.S. flag at. You can see the paint bubbling off the paint on the comercial.

But then again. I havn't tried it. Who knows.

Agreed. Also, lets keep in mind that this is not a midievil invasion: There will not be flaming tar on your hood, so why should it be used in the comm? Then there is the principle that heat rises... And of course that there is no product that can take an abused finish and transform it to like new in one pass... Simply not in the cards...
