Not too shabby!

I've had to pull out the 6-foot ladder once or twice... it's rare. I can definintely see how you'd need it on that beast.

What I'm more jealous about is that you've had weather warm enough to detail... It rained/snowed/sleeted all weekend here. My truck looks like hell in a hand basket.... plus, sticking around on the inside with the kiddo and sick wife makes for a double-whammy. Do what you've got to do though, ya know?

Nice work guys.

Yeah, we got lucky the weather cooperated. The week leading up to Sunday was cold and wet. Thanks again to RollingRock for the use of his DA, product, and time. I'm still in awe how good the truck looks

I dunno about steel wool... I guess it would... If not, some normal sandpaper should do the trick... I didnt have to worry about it-- mine was fine, but dirty. Yours is jacked up.

As for the paint, I would be happy to give a can to you (I have 3), but just in case, it is Rust Oleum (semi gloss black or gloss black work fantastic). If you should decide to paint anything that gets hot, R/O High temp (for grills) works great too. Let me know-- I have both and wouldnt mind sharing.

RR,

You think that hyperdressing offers any type of protection for the undercoating of the truck??

Um you mean like rust prevention? No. Its not a paint....it's a dressing product.

When dry it does offer some water repellent property to it. Dust and dirt don't attract to it as easily as other dressings. Its not really sticky per say. It does last a while.

Rockpick? Your thoughts?

For those of us who are lucky enough to get salt on the ground, I can see it adding *some* protection, but I really doubt that it is worth it, besides making the truck look good.

And Ryan, yeah the cycle sounds good, but you'll never get to it. You start buying more stuff and just using it on your own car...

Great looking detail there RR.

You guys crack me up and cost me money. I haven't had a paying detail in about a month and I'm still buying stuff.

I havent had a paying detail in almost 6 months... yet I still buy stuff... Not like I get to use it very often either...

And zaairman-- HUSH!!! Remember, the key to selling an idea to yourself is the idea that it will help you out!!! So, I figure that if I convince myself that it is a cycle, I can justify it when it turns out the real way...
