A random orbital buffer will eliminate any swirls. I use one all the time, and have had none since I started using it. You can geta unit at wally world for 20 or 30 bucks. Just get the different bonnets for it. Applicator, buffer, polisher, etc...once you get the hang of it, it should be alot quicker than not using one.

Please tell me you are not referring to this type of machine. I mean no offense, but these are not worth the trouble.

I have to partially disagree with the magi on this one. They have their market. They're cheap and work well for the few people that might only be using one cleaner/polish. Till I recently got my DA I used one for 9 years with no ill effects.

Of course granted a DA will beat the living snot out of an orbital everytime. Just mho that they have their place.

No worries...it was just my opinion...I have a neighbor who tries to use one but he cannot find pads for it, so just uses the same one it came with over and and over and he cannot figure out why his finish is all jacked up.

That's the great thing about this site, you get lots of opinions. The DA is a life changer for sure.

Yep. You've lost it RR. I remember -- it seems like it was just yesterday -- when you were diving in head first to the shallow end. Now, it looks like you *may* have as many (or a few more) towels than I have. LOL!
