New micro fiber towels question?

I finally got my new MF towels from Scott at Specialty Motoring thanks to a snafu with Fed Ex that I ordered last week. They are very nice. I am one of those that always wash new clothes before wearing the first time. Do most of you wash their new MF towels before using the first time?

Yes. Always wash them first. you have no idea what kind of crap they have picked up during the manufacturing, packing, distribution and shipping processes.

Better safe than sorry, imo.

I also like to wash them before I use them. It helps remove any excess lint... or anything else that might be in the towel.

Here's a third on washing them BEFORE use. All of the reasons above... lint, unknowns, etc...

Remember, most scratches and swirls are going to be induced by what you pick up on that towel (or what you have on your mitt when washing). The more 'unknowns' that you can eliminate when putting anything against your paint, the better.

1 The Awesome Towel 16x16 12pk
2 Big ol' Waffle Weave Drying Towel
2 SMP Glass Cleaning Towel
1 Super Plush Microfiber Wash Sponge
1 Microfiber Wax Pads
1 Micro-Restore Microfiber Detergent

I just tracked my order from Autogeek. It is Oklahoma City as of 6:55pm tonight. To bad it is not scheduled for delivery until Tuesday. I am going to try and see if I can get it set for a will call pick up, and pick it up after work on Monday.
