I use a concrete cleaner and powerwasher on my driveway, sidewalks every spring.
But yes you can see where you spray the product. When it rains, my driveway does bead up nicely.

1. buy very large tarps and lay them down (don't laugh, I have thought of this more than once)
2. spray what you are spraying, then move the truck/car and wash the area with water to further dilute. This would cut down on the look of it for sure.

I actually have a place just around the corner from my house. When I am going to do the undercarriage fully, I take my creeper and drive over there.
20 min later...I am out of there.
Just for fun I went outside and spayed a small stripe of 303 Cleaner and APC+ cleaner. Will snap a photo when it's dry to show the results.

LMAO! I had a little undeveloped culdesac where I'd go for EXACTLY the same purpose. It's all developed over there now so, I've been doing it at work in our parking lot there. HAHAHA! It's a small lot (like for 14 cars) so, it's pretty easy to see where I've done the work. HA!
One of the owners saw me out there one Saturday afternoon and asked what I was doing... I told him that I had been in the office working on a report for a client and needed to come out and unwind for a few minutes (which was partially true... ).
