BTW-- Send me an email if/when you go back to the Police Range in Saginaw... I have been there once, but the guys I went with are from Dalworthington Gardens, thus they dont drive over here very often... I wanna go back there, and yes, I will bring my own weapon and ammo (but would be more than happy to "test" some others... )

Anyway, this is WAY OT, so I will let you all resume to your regularly scheduled programming..

Hey Rollingrock
I can't see all the names of the stuff that your brother used. I am looking to get my ride to look that good. I assume he used a DA polisher ??

Sure here it is:
Washed with PB SS&W, Geen Lake
Polished with PB SSR1, White Lake
Followed by PB PwC-Blue (Polish with Carnuba Blue), Black Lake
Sealed with PB EX-P, Blue Lake
Waxed with Nattys Blue Wax.

My wifes White:

I looked at the site for that stuff, I see some is better for darker colours. I have white. So let me see if this sounds good.

PB clay bar kit
PB SSR1 white lake ploish or vanilla moose
PB EXP blue lake sealant
PB Natty's paste wax

or can you reccommend another wax. My truck is 1 year old. I take good care of it but want it to look better. I guess I probably have minimal swirlls and little to no scratches. I have also downloaded my own personal copy of the manual that the fellas wrote up. Great info there. Thanks. Now for the DA machine. I have on from the local autoparts store from years ago. It calls itself a ramdom orbit polisher. I think the only bonnets you can get for it are basically terry cloth. Will that work or should I get a better one?

Good luck, white is a hard color to get it to 'pop' and make everyone realize how much work you really put into it. Sounds like you have a pretty good attack plan, now get to work !!

Now about the DA question. I wouldn't use any machine that uses a terry cloth to polish. Give these guys a call and they should be able to set you up with the machine and the needed pads.

If it were my truck, this is what I would do, (just my opinion)

Wash
Clay
Polish with PB SSR1 (If needed at all)
Polish with PB Professional Polish
Polish with ClearKote Vanilla Moose Hand glaze
Seal with PB EX-P
wax with Collinite 845 or Poorboys NAttys White or Blue

As for the the DA, I cannot help you with the one you have, I don't like the idea of useing bonnets. I like pads.

If it were me, i would get a PC or G100.

Sorry to be short but I have to wash my truck and start on it tonight.

Got a detail lined up for Sat....

Cheers
