Ok you guys are starting to affect me. I was watching the Weather Channel this morning before I left for work and what do I see. They are interviewing a guy from Maine and he is brushing his car off not with a car brush he is using a PUSH BROOM . I almost screamed do you know what you are doing to your paint!!!!!!

Yeah, I got a g/f last week and well, my truck has been the dirtiest it has ever been in its life. Dirt all over it (when it rained she drew on it) so now I have swirls of dirt on my drivers-side door. and the inside looks like a tornado went through. Papers and books everywhere from school. My bed has trash and an umbrella and I think a pizza box from last week in it. I'm so mad at myself, I was going home to wash it sunday but my trannie died on the way home. As soon as I get ber back home safely from the dealership I'll give her a long-needed bath!

I learned in High School that you just gotta lay down the law with them. My girlfriends all knew the rules and they obeyed them or they didn't last long.

Time to dump her ***. Took a bunch of girls to homecoming once and there was glitter all over the inside of my truck. I made them vacuum it up.

 

Raptor, have you ever thought of converting to painted door handles? The truck would look MUCH better imho, and would steer you clear of the XL look. I'm not trying to dog you or anything, your truck looks cool, just a suggestion. i have an extra driver's handle if you're interested...

Yeah, I'm actually looking for some PTM handles! Kinda can't afford it at the moment (see trannie prob) but I'd love to get some if I could find all 3.


BTW, you go to that Sun 'N Fun fly-in every April? I live all the way up here by Tallahassee-ish and I manage to make it down there every year! You are lucky to live down there!

 

No way. 50% of my life is my truck, 50% is her. So far I'm operating at 50% efficiency because my truck is gone until Friday. If I didn't have her I'd be under my desk in the fetal position with my thumb in my mouth with my truck being gone all week.

It needs to be a 80/20... truck/her... Til you're married. Then it depends on the woman. My girl helps me wash the truck.. And she knows proper technique. Oh yeah!
