turtle wax ICE

Thanks for all of the feedback on the ICE products. Suffice it to say you made my decision to purchase almost $400.00 worth the supplies (including a DA) from www.autodetailingsolutions.com, very very easy. If all goes according to plan, I will pick up my new F-150 on Thursday (with the dealer having explicit instructions not to even think about washing it) and then avoid my wife all day saturday cleaning it up. Thanks again for all the help. S/F.

i used it on my white 150 and it looked fine to me! i hand waxed the whole truck, dont know if that had anything to do with it! i got me a orbital no and use some stuff called Black Magic? works well enough for me... im not that picky my truck has scratches and dents all over it so im not trying to hard with the wax area...haha i want to get her repainted.... forest green... or gator blue!

I bought the full system, and I have to say it sucks for me.
The liquid clay did nothing. The wax didn't do much for my finish, and it was hard to remove even with microfiber towel. It also didn't leave a good finish on plastic.
But I did find something I liked about the wax ice, it works great on rubber weatherstripping and I keep it for just that purpose.

on a similar note what are the thoughts on the Megs stuff you can buy at the local stores? I see they have the whole line of clay etc. And maybe even the mothers products. I want my truck to look good without spending $400 every so often. Has anyone ever taken you truck to a GOOD detail shop and let them sweat over your truck ? There is one here and they charge about $300 for the works...clay, power polish and some kind of polymer sealant. Any thoughts.
