MF Bonnets?

I received a MF bonnet with my DA. Does anybody use these? I've heard of them being used for wax removal, but is that really smart? Are they safe?

Thanks.

Prefer to use a MF towel and do it by hand.

They are fine for wax removal. Just don't use any pressure, and keep the speed slow... and of course, make sure the bonnets are clean and soft (rinse out all the detergent )

With that said, I still prefer to remove by hand.

P.S. You'll still find yourself having to go back with a towel to remove some wax anyhow.

That they said...

Like them, I personally don't use them - although, I did at one time.

In my opinion, there is a bit too much risk in the pad loading and you grinding the material back into the paint thus, inducing more problems.

As per GE pissing in RP's cereal today, I'll edit my post.

I would not use the MF Bonnet. I believe the MF Bonnet has a much greater risk to pick up containments to mar your paint since you can't fold it into sections and flip occasionally. I do not use them. I do not think they are safe.

He didn't ask that... he asked about MF bonnets. Take a minute and offer some explanation, opinion, or description rather than just blurting out.

Maybe... my brother tried some when I was doing the Porsche. He said it doesn't taste like anything. But then the smell hits you super hard and it overwhelms you. Then your tongue goes number for about a half hour.... All from one tiny squirt on his finger. <--- took three of those to get the numbness gone.
