Zaino question

I have my product now but want to go over the steps I "think" I understand.

I am going to

Dawn Wash
Clay
Now I am going to test the zaino swirl remover and z5 to see which one will work (light swirls from the dealer washes)
then:
2 coats z5
1 coat z2
with z6 in between coats.

Do I need a lsp with this system, I cant seem to figure that one out?

I know on Zaino's website they said just to layer their stuff (using the stuff that makes it cure quickly) and between layers use their Gloss Enhancer. I read somewhere that like 3 layers is best? There is some good tutorials on their website. Let me know how things work out... i have the Zaino kit in my bedroom, i realize i'll need something stronger before I get to use the Zaino stuff.

You've got the steps correct....just make sure you add the ZFX Flash Cure with your first 3 coats.

Zaino is great - it's all that I use and my truck still looks great after over 2 months of winter and road salt between polishings.

As far as I know, the only place to order is off their website. I love their leather stuff too!

Do you use a wax as a last step product and if so which one (or does it matter?)

Don't let all the numbers confuse you. Your steps are pretty much in order. However, here are some pointers...

You can skip the Dawn wash, and just use a regular wash if you want. Although, using a Dawn wash once a year won't hurt, contrary to what some folks say.

The Zaino swirl remover (Z-PC) is a true mechanical (abrasives) swirl remover for light swirls.

The Z5 is an LSP with some swirl "filling" capabilities. However, don't count on it to hide much. Use the Z-PC to remove swirls. Also, the Z5 is a great LSP on it's own depending on the color of your paint.

The Z2 is also an LSP... and a fine one at that.

Consider getting the Zaino Z8. It is an incredible spray sealant!

Thanks Boss,

thats what I wanted to hear.

I have a bottle of the z8 as well, jus wasnt sure if I needed a wax before that.

I have the leather cleaner and the leather conditioner as well and the tire product. I will try the leather in a bottle on the entire interior but I did buy some hyper dressing as well so might try that in a few places.

My truck is the dark amethyst so I guess I might use all z5

I bought a megs da so I can do the swirl remover, and the wifes 05 4 runner needs some love in a bad way.

Guess I know what I am doing for the next several weekends.
