This is probably a dumb question RR, but I'm cleaning up my truck tomorrow, where can I get a claybar on short notice? Walmart, advanced auto, autozone?

I doubt you'll find a clay like Meg's blue at a chain store. Maybe try and find a local dealer.

If not, there's a clay kit by Meg's and one by Mother's sold at Walmart for about 15$. The Meg's one is a white clay that I use for windows. It does ok on paint but no where near as good as the blue. Never tried the mother's, but I'm guessing it's the same if not worse than the Meg's white.

Agreed, I like the Meguiar's White compared to the Mother's Yellow. I never let my paint get bad enough to need the Blue Clay.

Ha... My woman would rather drive her dad's F-350 CC dually (with or without the G/N horse trailer on) than her Jeep Grand Cherokee. And then she'll complain about how he sold their 7.3 and bought a 6.0.
And its like 55 today. Your truck didn't look *that* dirty when I saw it yesterday... I was going to wash mine, but it would just get dirty at work tonight.

Thumpy, the rides look great. Think you could get some pics of where the paint is messed up from the decals? Any before pics?

That is true. The truck needs a good detailing and protecting from the elements as it has to set out in the weather all the time. I will have to bring some pics of the ranger's paint and see what you can do with it! LOL!!! The clear is peeling off the fenders above the pin stripe and a few places on the hood.

I usually wash the wheels with soap/water plus a chrome cleaner, like the Eagle 1 stuff. I don't make it a habit, only if the wheels are real bad. Than I'll use Collinite 845 to wax them once they are dried off. I usually do this every time I rotate the tires minus using the Chrome Cleaner, unless of course it needs it.
