I've been busy lately!! [PICS]

I've been pretty busy with a few cars. I just got done doing a 2006 Ford Mustang & a 2008 Ford Fusion. I'm pretty happy with the results.

The Mustang did have vinyl stripes on it prior to detailing it. I wasn't able to get these lines from the edges of the stripes out. I did get the ones on the hood out for the most part but the the roof and trunk lid need some more work. I ran out of strength and time. It was already about 1 o'clock in the morning when I finished.

2006 Mustang
  • Wash with Meguiars Gold Class & Meguiars Microfiber mit.
  • Meguiars Clay (This took forever on this vehicle!! The owner parked under a Oak tree.)
  • #80 (A few passes)
  • NXT 2.0
  • Collinite 845
  • Wheels Removed/Waxed with Collinite 845

2008 Fusion
  • Wash with Meguiars Gold Class & Meguiars Microfiber mit.
  • Meguiars Clay.
  • #80
  • NXT 2.0

More pictures ...

I'll be throwing another coat of NXT 2.0 ontop and finishing with #26, probably.

PS: The galleries are all screwed up since the "migration" so hopefully the pictures resize as my Photobucket account is over the bandwidth limit. LOL!

Looks good. Is that your womans car? Looks like you both have about the same taste going on with the mustangs. I wish it would warm up here so I could detail comfortably.

Yup, that's the wifes car. I tried to talk her into going with a Silver/Black theme but oh well it's her car.

It still looks pretty good. I wish I could meet a girl that enjoyed modding her ride. Must be a keeper!!

Good job Thump. It looks like our women appreciate the same things (as per an earlier conversation.)

Unfortunately mine drives a Ford Tempo because that's all I could afford.

V-dub to come in the summer (hopefully)
