microfiber

ok... so i'm going to have to break down and buy some good mf towels. My question is, are the Premium Quality 16x16 towels from ADS good enough to remove wax and polishes, or do I have to buy the Meguiars Supreme Shine towels? or are they essentially the same thing?

Personally, I use the Meguiars Supreme Shine for the removal of product on the paint. I do use the ADS MFs for everything else.

Microfiber

Those are glass towels with probably very little "nap." Prolly not good for your paint

Essentially... they're on par with eachother. I use both the ADS and Supreme Shine on paint.

LSP removal is almost exclusively DF Towels.

Guitarman.... Should I outbid you? I've had the winning bid on that item for several days now. Wake up this morning and you've outbid me.

On the one hand, I really want it... On the other hand, I don't want to outbid a member.

I've tried every different micro-fiber towel there is I think including meguiars.

The best one for automotive paint (drying, wax removal and work great on glass) I've tried to date were bought at Target. They are the one's that come in blue & white stripe or pink & white stripe (same towel just different colors). Can't remember the maker though.

I bought about thirty of them in case they quit making them or quit carrying them.

In the automotive section? I think the only ones I've seen are some orange ones.

Both are very good towels... I have and use both but, between the two, I tend to give the nod to the DF simply because I like the way that the DF is similar to a terry towel (it's looped) and seems to give a bit more wiping action while still being ULTRA soft and plush.

Don't get me wrong... both are fantastic towels but, in my personal opinion, I'd give the edge to the DFT...

If I have a minute in the next few days... I'll try to take a snapshot of them side by side...
