Which one do I use?

I am looking to check myself into a rehab center and the rest of you OCD-Detailists...The first step is admitting!

Which one is better the G100/G110 or the PorterCable 7436?

I will then order from either AutoDetailSolutions or ProperAutoCare.

Other products on my list are Meguires #80, #26 and I have NXT 2.0. Also will be ordering some hyperdressing to see what all the hype is about.

Thanks for the help/recommendations!

Add some #21 to that after the #80. Thats my choice personally. Everyone seems to favor the G100 over the G110. Plus the G100 has a life time warranty.

I think the #21 and the NXT are pretty close in comparison in that they both are synthetic sealants. If he tops NXT with #26, I think he will be fine.

I've never used the G110 but I do own a G100 so you know where my vote will be going. I can't say enough good things about AutoDetailingSolutions.com either, grade A service.

Agreed #21 and NXT are VERY similar.

Another vote for ADS. If your getting Meguiars products I don't think anyone can beat Rick's prices. Plus great people to deal with!!

Just my thought but isnt NXT a cleaner wax? If you put #80 then #26 then NXT, wouldnt the NXT remove some of the #26. Unless thats not the order he`s doing it in. If its not the order or im wrong please let me know.

Using these products, the proper order is:

#80
NXT (ideally, allow to set up/cure for 12 hours)
#26

Ordered From ADS

I order Kit # 2 from Rick at ADS today along with some hyperdressing and additional pads and towels. Great guy to talk to and work with. I also bought the DVD to watched, figured it wouldn't hurt.

Thanks again and I am sure I will have a few questions...actually I already have one...

When you say let it cure for 12 hours, do I leave the NXT on the paint for 12 hours before buffing it off or buff it off and wait 12 hours to put the next product on?

No, just let it cure 12 hours before trying to apply another coat of wax. Otherwise you'll just be buffing off the previous wax and only end up with one coat of wax and less wax in your bottle. I usually do the whole vehicle and than start removing once I'm done starting with the first panel that was waxed.
