Need Help Now

Im claying as we speak. After claying a portion of my truck I still feel a little amount of particles. Should I re clay a second time?????

keep claying until it feels smooth, just make sure you use enough lube... you may have to go over a spot more than once.

I agree. Lots of lube is your friend.

True, true... I guess I never use TOO much. I am very liberal with my product though. Thanks RR for that.

always gotta lube, otherwise you might damage something. what kinda lube are you using? megs, mothers, etc?

I usually just use the Meguiars Quick Detailer that comes in the maroon bottle. It's cheap and does the job.

I dunno about too much lube... There gets to be a point when you are wasting, but at first, I typically reccommend using more than enough until you get comfortable with knowing how much you need to use.

In any case, make sure you DO lube it up.

Also, it doesnt REALLY matter what you use as lube (within reason, of course). Any QD will work fine, as will a diluted wash solution. I wouldnt go much further than that, though. I guess what I am trying to say is, Use the lube that is cheapest-- it wont make a difference if you use QD #1 or QD #2-- as long as you are using something that is appropriate for the situation, you are fine...IMO, at least...
