If you drive really, really slow, you might not kick up any dirt.

And just when you almost make it... HERE COMES A GUST OF WIND!

Bring the QD so you can wipe down when you get off the road!

My OCD is beyond most comprehension.

so much so I would rather not say what I have done already "on vacation"

You need to dig around the CD section, it will be painfully obvious who has it bad.

Would that be like washing and polishing on your birthday?

Mine is going to be thrown offroad and down a creek tomorrow. Here's to buffing out rub marks!

Sea Breeze. I'm right across from the water most of the time, and the truck gets covered in salt.

Bird crap and bugs are the worst. As soon as it's seen and the truck is home it gets the hose.

The wife ordered a set of custom cabinets to match the existing cabinets for laundry room to go above the folding area to store all of the detailing supplies supplies. I will get before and after pictures.

I do and it still gets dusty. You should see the few people who do live on my road when they get behind me.

Nothing gets me more upset then when people put their greasy azz fingerprints on my paint. I tell them constantly, that's what door handles were made for, use them!

Try having all chrome handles, fingerprints just stick on them like glue.

At the moment, all this Pollen turning my truck yellowish green is driving me nuts!!

Also what makes me OCD, is trying to avoid any sprinklers or water filled pot holes and standing waters. Especially, after I have detailed the whole truck.

You will never catch bird crap on my truck for more than 30 seconds after i realize it's there.

I try to do a complete detail every 2-3 months, including polish, synthetic sealant, and carnuba wax.

Vaccume every day, seeing as i work at a drive through car wash part time and have access to anything i need for free. Including the wash.
HOWEVER, I RARELY USE THE DRIVE THROUGH WASH. I KNOW THAT WOULD REALLY HURT SOME OF YOU GUYS' FEELINGS IF I SAID I DID!

I guess that's the price we pay to recieve those lovely comments like... "Man, your trucks always clean!" or "Your trucks in great shape!" The list continues. Or... The bad ones like "Your gonna wash your paint off!" Or.. "Why are you washing your truck?" haha. Personally i believe there's positives and negatives to having our disorder...

So please, explain here how OCD you are, and if you think its a good thing, or a bad thing!.

Just trying to start up some friendly convo about our detailing!

+1 could not have said it better myself, all though i take it a step farther and even wipe down my engine bay with the same tire shine i use to keep all the rubber in there looking as clean as the rest! Well actually I hit all the black rubber with it, including window and door seals... I may go a little overboard but thats how they stay nice so long!
