I wash my truck with dish soap and then about ever 3 months wax it.
Get a quality car wash soap! Like meg's gold class! Ahhhh. Dish wash soap strips the wax off your car, if you use dish soap.. Wax after EVERY wash.

HAHA i just have to say meguires all the way, i got a kit for cristmas with like 9 peices in it from the tech wax all the ay to the tire cleaner and the stuff is amazing... I went out and bought the MR CLEAN auto dry thingy the more expensive one and i say it does jsut what it says no need for drying ( if you do it right) but it does seem to leave a resadue that i wipe off but its much better then drying and the resedue could be the pollen from the trees also ... who knows i just know that not much can beat a freshly waxed black F150
