Best way to spend $75

I got $75 in my paypal account that I didn't know about so I might as well blow it on some car care stuff. Suggestions?

I'm sure your truck will be very happy with you by the time you are done.

You can check out some of the detailing products we have on our site right here http://www.modbargains.com/gdept.aspx?dept_id=07

What will $75 buy?

A tank of gas

Seriously though, if you're looking for care care products I'd get some Zaino, great stuff:

Since you've already got some good products, listed in your other thread, I'd pick up a bottle of #9 and a bunch of good microfibers.

Personally I like the Meguiars Supreme Shine for removing product. I use the blue MFs sold at www.autodetailingsolutions.com for everything else. They're a good MF at a great price.

While I agree that the blue MF's from ADS are a good cheap towel, I'd invest in something a little nicer. They're really not too good at soaking up QD, especially if you use too much like I do.

Specialty Motoring sells great towels - for a price.

I don't use those towels for a QD. I have done it before and you just need to use two towels. One to wipe most of the QD and than use the 2nd for any streaking etc. Most of the time I'll use my Meguiars Supreme Shine towels for QD. Although, I rarely use a QD ...

I only use #34 after a full detail. Otherwise I won't touch a QD, maybe after a wash every once in a while.

It's just another opportunity to mar the surface of your paint.

I suppose if you used it to wipe off dirt and grime.

I always QD immediately following a wash. Helps me eliminate any water spots that may have accumulated. (By this I mean simply wiping, not rubbing the spots.)

Zainos Grand Finale Spray is the most reflecting QD I've ever used.

What's XFD? I'm guessing "Extreme final detail" but who makes it, got a link? just wanna check into it. Been thinking about buying a new QD (possible a gallon that can be diluted) online so i dont have to keep buying little spray bottles of UQD at the store, for a higher price.

Except i did find megs #26 for $8.00 at Pep Boys!!! ( I know its not a QD Just figured i'd mention that!)

Xtreem Final Detail. It used to be named something else and sold by megs. Now it's made by Xtreem. Good luck finding it. We in the DFW area have a supplier. Not sure if they ship, but a phone call might verify.

Something like 13$ a gallon. No dilution though. I've used a gal and a half in over a month. Not too shabby. Although I haven't done as many details as I had planned on when I bought two gallons. Rain every weekend kinda makes people second guess the whole thing.

If it were me i would definitely skip the #9...it is no more than a mere glaze that hides stuff for 2 weeks in my honest opinion..not meaning to offend users of it but.....i would definitely invest in menzerna polishes....they dont get much talk on this forum but in my opinion the finest polish i have ever worked with....go with intensive polish (IP) and Final Polish II (Micropolish)....you can get 16 oz. of both for 30 + shipping...it leaves money left over for MF and pads if you need some!

If it's only hiding things for 2 weeks than you have a problem with your LSP.

If you think about it, all of the work you do before the LSP is going to be "sealed" by the LSP.
