Thanks to all for the help, I really appreciate it.
For white I wouldn't use SSR2 unless the finish is really bad.

I've used SSR2 one time, and I think I'm going to throw it away. I didn't like it at all. It was very hard to work and spread in my opinion. I've been wanting to try 2.5, but haven't had a need for it.

SSR2 is good to keep after you use SSR3.

If you dont' want it, I'll take it.

If you have a bottle of 2.5 I can try, I'll give it to ya. I was not happy with SSR2 at all.

Must be user error.

Keep the 2 and skip the 2.5.

2 after 3 and 1 after 2. They work better like that.

I didn't think that SS2 responded well with an Orange pad. I would avoid that combo.

I have no idea why I edited this post.............

Probably so. I figured it would be similar to SSR1.. Seemed completely different all together. I may give it another shot, but who knows.

What are the thoughts on SSR 2.5 ? After 2.5 you don't have to use 1 correct ?
So I could use SSR1 with a white pad followed by Pro polish with White as well ? .
Thanks

I am looking at the package of LC CCS foam from specialtymotoring. I should be able to use the pads as white, white and blue right ? (SSR1, Pro polish and Exp.)

Thanks

this is what I would do sight unseen on your paint of course.

SSR1 with Green Lake, remove with MF towel
Pro polish with White Lake, remove with MF towel
EXP-with Black or Blue, I prefer Blue for EX-P. Do not remove, allow to sit on surface for at least 30 min to an hour, then remove with MF towel.

LSP by hand if you are using Nattys.

Since you are talking with Scott at SM, make sure you order with the code F150online. And while you are there pick up a few of his Soft Edge Premium Detailing Towel 16" x 24" towels. They are amazing.

Sorry, I'll try to work on some pics. I take pretty good care of it. The truck is a year or so old, so I have tried to keep it looking its best. Minor swirls and little to no light scratches. More rock chips from the crappy winter here...but still very few. THe bottom of the truck is dark grey, will these products still work on the lower part ? Its the 2 tone FX4. oh and how long after the EXP can I apply the Natty's 12 hours ?

Thanks

EX-P can be topped off with your LSP in as little as an hour. I usually wait about an hour, sometimes longer, sometimes shorter. The longer you wait, supposedly the deeper the shine.

Here's a BMW with EX-P topped with Collinite 845 after waiting for 2 hours (Had to run an errand after using the EX-P.)

Edit: My signature - EX-P topped with Collinite 845 after about 45 minutes - (that's about right isn't it JP?)

As you can tell, it doesn't make much of a difference. The BMW was obviously in much brighter light, so it looks a lot shinier. In person, the truck is definitely better because of all the prep work JP sacrificed his morning/afternoon for. The Bimmer was a 4 hour wash/pure polish/ex-p/lsp job. Big difference.
