Hmm.... send 'em south Depending on price I might be willing to buy. I'm in desperate need for a DA. This hand thing is killing me.

I can't wait to see her your input. I've been tossing around the idea of buying a Flex. It can still use the same pads that I use on my G100, correct?

My buddy beat me to it, he was on the waiting list for 3 months, I was only on it for about an hour. He has his and it looks GREAT.

As for pads, should be able to use what you have as long as you have the right backing plate...My lake VC pads are going to fit it out of the box.

I did buy from ADS and got a CCS pad and 2 MF's part of the package. I told Rick to toss in a Megs duffel.... Hope he does, I could use it. Hint, hint Rick

I would like to point out what a great guy Rick is at ADS. He already sent me a follow up email with some cool new data in it about "special pads" they are investiating for the Flex. So I am anxious to find out what he is digging up.

If you are new to the site and you are reading this, remember that few companies really are passionate about their products and customers. Rick and ADS are dedicated to make sure all of us fellow OCD'ers have what we need at great prices and better service.

Can you give a little more detail on the Flex? From what I can tell, it's an orbital not a true DA. Is that correct? Does the pad rotate other than the orbit? I've been thinking about one, since I have lots of rotary experiance and am comfortable using something more agressive than a true DA. The Flex looks like the hot ticket but geez are they expensive!

Actually flip that....its a true DA and almost an (edit) high speed.

Its a good middle ground from a PC or G100 to a High Speed.

Thanks Boss, I happen to run into my Body Shop buddy at dinner tonight, I asked about working on a spare door, he said pick a color and come get one...

So I will get to practice on a door panel before I throw it down on my paint.
