Wax Application

Hand.
While I have used a DA to remove in the past, it is my experience that the bonnet that would be used to remove the LSP can easily become 'loaded' and thus can potentially induce real light scratching (micromarring).
Of course, one could do this by hand as well -- I just personally think that it's MUCH less likely by hand as you can easily monitor the MF towel and remove the 'electric' component (which can be a wild card).

I have removed with a DA once... It micromarred in some places-- you can do it, but you have to be VERY careful, pay CLOSE attention, and not get distracted...
Man, I have some really funny stories that might make their way into a new thread about things I have tried to do with all sorts of electric detailing products... HA!!! Maybe this weekend...

Oh yeah-- I typically apply by hand. Why? I think it makes me look good without a shirt on in the driveway flexing my abs and workin' the wax in with my arms. A bit vain? You bet. But on more than one (or two or three...) occasions I have had some pretty HOT chicks giving me the look and a few come talk to me...
But, all that aside, I would have to get the DA out, plug it in, get a pad out, put it on, THEN start work... Nah. I will stick to Applicator pads. (Granted, at the ripe old age of 18, this still isnt a big deal. You old farts may think differently...)
...One last note, it is a good arm workout to apply by hand...
