Tried the new foam cannon today

Well I got the UPS man to finally bring my foam cannon. I've never had so much fun washing a truck. I'll have to take pics next time.

Did you buy the one from Auto Geek? Heck, I even use mine to wash my jet skis.

Now that I've used one, I won't ever wash a vehicle without one.

RollingRock, I love the gun. It works awesome, it's got a quick disconnect so it's not a hassle switching from water to the foam/soap. Just buy one and be done with it. Also buy the DP Foam Gun Soap, I know it's expensive but you'll love it in the foam gun !!

That looks pretty cool.... however, I'll stick to the tried-n-true method.

Home depot bucket, MF wash mit, and Meg's wash.

I too use the foam gun. But I still use two buckets. Makes things go a lot quicker.

I've only recently bought in to the foam gun idea. Now that I'm there, I'm hooked. It really is a nice item but, in my opinion, doesn't replace traditional washing. More so, it's a good way to get a lather on the paint which increases the lubrication between mitt and paint.

I snared mine from autodetailingsolutions and have been using 'Super Soap' with FANTASTIC results (btw, Super Soap - as goofy and bulky as it sounds - is becoming one of my favorite soaps!).

I got a camspray one. They discontinued it, don't know why. I guess all good things have to be discontinued(#16). I paid $85 shipped. I will post pics but we are supposed to get 5-9" snow tomorrow so it probly wont be till next weekend. I have used the DP soap and Blue Coral high foam formula and I can't tell the difference. Other than the DP is WAY more money. I the the Blue Coral free at Menards after rebate.

Can someone give a brief run down of what it does?

Basically What i deduce is that it will double as a hose and as a soap applicator.... Is it designed to be used in with wash mitts to get a good wash though?

or is it supposed to be like, touch free?

Im confused :P
