You're more than welcome to try the 20$ guns they sell at wally world or pep boys. I doubt you'll be satisfied though. I think there's a video on youtube comparing the gilmour to a 20$ autozone gun.

Are you talking about the DP Super Foaming soap? If so, I can't forget that because it's amazing in the foam gun. I love it. It's pretty damn expensive, I barely pulled the trigger on it but it's so nice of a soap.

Yes, the Butchers Brand is the same thing and I paid about 28 for mine through a janitorial supply place.

EDIT: Well i did some searching and it seems that most of these janitorial places have really raised the pricing on them. They must have heard what us OCD guys were using them for.

FWIW, Lowe's had something that resembled a foam gun. I won't attest to the abilities nor will I offer an opinion but, it was touted as some kind of foam gun...

For those of you that want to go and look at it, it's with the hose accessories (or it was at my local Lowes).

To my recollection, it was sub-$20 and was an 'all in one' type of unit with a very small resevoir and trigger handle.

For $11 I'm going to give it a try. I could buy 6 of those bottles before it'd cost me as much as this DP Foam Soap !!

Hey Thump,

Thanks dude! You now have me considering a gun and some DP soap. Like I really need to spend more $$$ Anyway...

I am confused as to what to look for? I am looking at the following link, but not sure about what the differences are between these foaming guns? Can you help??

This is exactly what I got ...

http://www.autogeek.net/auqufofogun.html

They include a small trial bottle of the DP soap for one wash. It's super smart on their part because had they not done that, I would of never spent the extra coin on the gallon since it's $60+ for just the soap !! I'm probably going to try another soap the next time I need some because the price is harsh. Gold Class works pretty good in it, you just need to use a little more in your mixture.

Those are all the same they just come with different soaps and such and the various product names on them. The ones that are 10.00 more come with something and not just the foamgun.
