Can sratches in hard plastic be removed???

I just bought a used 2006 Lariat. The truck is in good shape, but the previous owner must have let a small dog run around on the dash or something. There are no visible scratches in the soft vinyl portions of the dash, but all the hard plastic portions (directly left or right of the center portion, or where vents are located) have long winding scratches from the front all the way to the back. In certain light, it looks really bad. I was wondering if I will need to replace the plastic to remove them, or if there are other options available.....scratch removal products, professional interior repair, etc. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Most of the interior plastic is PAINTED. Thus, you have a couple of options:

1) Replace the pieces
2) Attempt to repaint them yourself.

With the proper prep, you can likely bring them back with a rattle can of the correct paint and some patience.
