PB products

Well this question is open, but I have a feeling RR can shed some light. I am going to branch out of the megs realm and try a few PB's products. Got a few questions,
1. what are the "cant miss" products?

2. what is the difference between the nattys red, white, and blue?

Thanks guys

I will echo Rock, Gip, Boss and Dan here....there are lots of great products out there. Knowing 1-3 lines well is the key. Understanding how they react, respond to your applications and needs and having a proper expectation level of each is the important. Results are going to vary, experimenting is part of the learning process and fun. Proper application, tools, technique come into play to get desired results. That being said:

I was already working this up so a simple cut and paste for you....

Sure Fire Products I would get from Poorboys:

SSR’s
If you need them, Get 3, 2 and 1 skip the 2.5 in my opinion (there are lots of variables as to when to use each and with which pad)

If you don’t need them, just get SSR1.

Individual step products:
Clay bar or use Megs Blue, but PB is pretty good too
Professional Polish
EX-P
Natty’s, 3 Versions, White (Light colored cars), Blue (darker cars) Special Red (limited supply for darker colors)

All in one products:
PwS Polish with Sealer, good one step product, use after claying
PwC Polish with Carnuba, comes in two forms, normal for lighter colors, Blue for darker colors, use after claying

Interior:
Natural Look Dressing, love love love this stuff
Leather Stuff

New Products:
White Diamond is good, can be used as a glaze or between full details. Designed for White or light colors
Black Hole- same as above for dark colors

Optional products to consider:
Trim Restorer, but I sure do look BlackWow and or Hyperdressing
Bug Squash, great product, dilution is key
Super Suds and Wash (its great) but you can use what you have...

If I think of more I will post it up...

Can't miss, Natural Look Dressing. Came recommended by RR and I love it. I had a post about my new fav. dash spray (NXT tech protect) Until I tried Natural Look.

I would agree with just about everything that was said here. I actually use most of the above listed products.

However I do not care for the PWC/PWs just use the Pro Polish instead.
Although the Natural Look dressing is OK I still prefer Megs Rubber and Vinyl Cleaner Conditioner.

I love the Trim Restorer and it is the only product that works well on the interior of my 2006 Mustang.

I also do not use the wash as I prefer a CG one. And i also use CG Blue Wheel Cleaner. It works great on both tires and wheel.

Have not tried the Black Hole yet but it is getting rave reviews and since all my vehicles are dark colored i am sure it will be added to my supply.

The S&W is nice and I absolutely love the S&G

In my opinion you cannot go wrong with any of PB products. I was a long long time Meg's user and still use a few things from them but the PB is so much easier to use.

The great thing about companies like Poorboys, Tropi-Care, Adams, Chem Guys, Megs, Zaino, Menzerna, ClearKote etc is that there is a LOT of products to use. Some are great and some are just ehhhh...so so and of course you will get varied opinions on each.

Just an FYI, PB NLD is designed to be a broad use product, can be used for more than just rubber and vinyl. To me, its the Hyperdressing for the interior.

That step should go before you seal if you use that step before LSP.

Really? That product was designed to be used on the outside the car/truck...would like to know how you are using it inside.

I apply it to a MF Sponge applicator then rub it on let it sit for a few minutes then buff with a MF towel. Works great and Steve was actually the one who suggested i try it on the interior and sent me a free sample to try since everything else I treed on it made it look all dried out.

Here is what it says right on his site.

Trim Restorer
Trim Restorer is a long lasting unique dressing, with a patented UV absorber for ultimate protection of exterior and interior surfaces. Restorer is unmatched on grained trim, bumpers, vinyl, leather, dashboards, tires and engine compartment plastics. A must for the enthusiast or show car.

NOT GREASY or STICKY
DRIES TO THE TOUCH
LONG LASTING
DOESN’T STREAK

Steve knows his stuff...I gotta admit, I have never thought of using it on the inside....

What we need to do is combine our super powers and ask Steve to make more Natty's red.

My daughter is sitting on my lap right now and she is freaking out over the banana so I had to post it....

Detail City is owned by a guy named Dwayne McPeeks (I think that's his last name). I've dealt with Dwayne lots of times and he runs a pretty good ship as well...
