Removing chrome handles

Removing chrome handles

Whats the easiest way to remove chrome over lay handles?

just curious as to why your removing them?

i would (assuming it is double sided tape holding them on) heat them very well with a heat gun or hair dryer. Then try to get them off with my bare hands moving next to a toothpick or fishing line.

Overlays, simply pry off. if they are actual chrome handles do a search for lt handle install. post in correct place please.

im thinking he was looking to get them off without scratching the paint. perhaps they are crappy from winter weather. at least thats what i had. let us know what the deal is.

I bought the truck used and it already had those chrome handles on it. I dont like them i wanna go back to original black handles.
