How on EARTH did you come across this idea? I dont doubt the credibility (I am going to try it this week just for fun), but it makes me wonder who got the idea to use Chrome polish on glass...

From Forrest at Mothers... he recommends it. Not sure how he got the idea to try it.

I also use their Plastic Polish to clean, polish, and protect clear coated wheels... works great!

Hmmm... Interesting... I think you need to start a thread for tips/tricks that you use. I think if everyone posted things like that in a good thread, it would make a good sticky...

I have had very good success using Meguiars #2 Fine cut cleaner with water spots on glass. By hand or rotary or even a DA. You can atually go up to the heavy cut cleaners if they are bad enough.

I also found that Meguiars Ultimate Quick Detail spray works very good on glass as a protective coating. Easy on and easy off and keeps the water spots away.

i have actually waxed my windows with meguiars gold class with decent results. but i wouldnt suggest it unless you have a buffer. Oh and dont wax the windshield, i tried that once and it came out...bad...rained that night and my wipers just smeared it all over.
