Can someone explain the differences between the above products?

I can understand your confusion... there are literally "hundreds" of QD's on the market today.

Anyhow, I categorize QD's into three areas...

Pure Cleaning QD's

Cleaning QD's with gloss enhancers

Gloss enhancer QD's that may add a little bit of protection.


With that said, Final Inspection falls into the first category. It is a very good cleaning QD with little or no gloss enhancers or added protection. It is body shop safe due to the lack of silicones.

Quik Detailer is a cleaning QD with gloss enhancers (silicones).

Ultimate Detailer is a gloss enhancing QD that adds a bit of polymer protection.

Use a good cleaning QD if you you are trying to remove some light dust or bird bombs.

Use a gloss enhancing QD when you are trying to do just that.. enhance the gloss a little, and/or add a bit of protection.

As a continuation of a question I posted...I would guess Last Touch would be considered a Gloss Enhancer with a little protection?
