But seriously I was thinking the same thing. But Honestly there is probably a bigger market for a digital camera. Thats how I would approach it. But I would also order some HD for myself at that price its hard to beat!
I'm thinking about it...

when you say there is a bigger market, do you mean more people want to buy the camera (as opposed to HD and other detailing goodies), or do you mean that more people would want to buy the pictures than would want their car detailed?

The only reason why I want to wait until I have a $100 order at ADS is so I can get the duffle-- I missed out on it last time by a few bucks (and about hit my head on the keyboard when I realized it...), although Rick was nice enough to send the NXT cooler for me... Thanks, Rick!!! That keeps the cold ones cold for me while I detail!!!

RR-- if you can get me a detailing gig with one or two of your people who pays over $300 for a detail, that would help out TREMENDOUSLY... Shoot, I am free on Saturday should you have a person for me...

If anyone is in the DFW area, closer to Fort Worth, I would happily detail their vehicle for a nominal fee-- I need to make $$$.

I was approaching it as everyone I know is wanting digital cameras, myself included. Dont get me wrong there are many people who want a great looking car. But IMO most people would rather just pay those of us who can/enjoy doing a great job detailing. So there are fewer people who are actually buying the products as a result.

And I dont blame you I am trying to save to the $100 as well did the same thing you did.

Well I did it. I splurged for a gallong of Hyperdressing. There's an auto parts/paint supply store down the street from my work that carries Meguiar's D-line. It cost more than ordering through ADS, but I'm not much of an online orderer. The gallong of HD cost me $40, plus I picked up a gallon of Meguiar's Glass Cleaner Concentrate for an additional $18, plus a few Meg's spray bottles.

I'm excited to give them a try, but I need to find time to wash my truck again. Maybe I'll be able to squeeze it in this weekend, in between painting my daughter's bed, and assembling my son's new bed.

Oh yeah, while I was there, I noticed that they also stocked 3M's Ultrafina SE. I've heards LOTS of praise of this polish on autopia.org, but I had no idea it costs over $50 for a bottle of it!!! If it was around $20, I would of picked up a bottle. But $50+!!!!

I need to make a big order with ADS in the next month or so. I'm not looking forward to it. I'd go with the detailing order since you want a Cannon.

Man I wish I knew of a place even reasonable close that sold the Meguiar's D-line. A city the size of Houston should have a place to buy pads and products somewhere. If anyone knows a place, please let me know

I'm wondering if I should just get the $7.99 32oz sampler since I've never used it before to see if I like it? 1 Gallon seems like A LOT for a first time user to see if they like it! Hate to miss this deal for the 1 gallon if I do like it....

While I can't say for sure and am in no way affiliated with ADS, I can say that Rick typically runs a special like this for a full month. That said, you can probably jump in for the sampler, tinker with it for a time or three and then decide if you want to belly up to the bar...

While I understand your hesitation, I feel confident that someone here will GLADLY take it off of your hands if you don't like it. The PM button is your friend since we can't sell things directly on the forums... *hint hint*.

Wow... the shipping and handling cost almost as much as the sampler. The shipping on the 1 gallon is only a little more then what it is for the sampler....what to do! I guess I'll just get the sampler for now then at least it comes inside a hyper dressing spray bottle so I'll have the right bottle if I go for the gallon later. Is the sampler already mixed or is it the full concentrate like in the gallon?

If I remember correctly, Its in concentrate form... I have yet to figure out what you are supposed to do to dilute it... Where to put the rest? Personally, I would get some bottled water, drink the water, then use it as the reservoir for the spray bottle... I dunno...
