guess i waited too long...

i can't find the G100 on ADS's website anymore. The only packages i could find were with g110's. i don't particularly care for the fisher price look. did ads finally sell out of the g100's?

I have a feeling that the only place you are going to find a G100 now is on Ebay or maybe amazon.com.

Yes but the G100 is a better value so to speak since it comes with the lifetime warranty from Meguiars. I'm still confused why they don't make it anymore.

Makes two of us.

I don't think that their media people will tell you this but, I don't believe that the G110 is selling - especially with the introduction of other devices emerging as viable tools that apparently feel better to use and accomplish the same task.

Let's face it, the G-100 got it's marks with the lifetime warranty... all it is is a 7424 with a Meg's sticker, Meg's box, and Meg's instruction sheet (all made and printed by Porter Cable).

well, I bought a G110 out of curiosity, and am planning on playing with it this weekend.

it will be interesting to see if I like it, or if it because the "guest detailer" DA in my arsenal.

Meguiars sounds like Microsoft. Just like Microsoft in terms of them pulling XP off of the shelves so Vista will sell.

I imagine you're dead on. I think it's one of those "if it ain't broke" situations. What they had to good and people liked it. Then they try to replace it with something that "looks" like cheap plastic. It may be a good tool but in todays society looks means a ton.
