Got that Mothers Clay Bar kit.....

Its awesome! I picked it up at Wally-World ($14.95) and tried it out today on my hood. It has had little black specks in the paint for the longest time and I sprayed the QD, rubbed the clay, and I'm suprised how you can see, hear, and see the stuff coming off! I applied the carnuba wax and she's smooth as GLASS! Nice Can't believe I didn't get this stuff earlier. I also got some tire gel and applied that on. I'll post up some pics tomorrow when I get to work in the morn if anyone is interested. Really makes my white paint "pop" out.

Did you wax it or just clay it?

I did my motorcycle other day with clay. I STROKE my tank every time I ride it now. Sounds sick, but it makes me grin and a weird sensual pleasure. Guys who don't give their bikes the love are crazy IMO. I am hooked

I clayed for the first time just a few days ago also. I was really amazed....particularly on the hood and roof. I have determined that clay is the Magic Eraser of the automotive world. Wife's car is next.

I've never done my motorcycle but I plan on doing it the next time I wash it.

I just used a cleaner wax and some other stuff on a friend's Buick Regal... Then one of his friends jumped on it (the exact reason why I had to pull out the buffer)... Funny story>>>

Rather than getting mad at another friend for being inconsiderate of the detailing obsession, we decided to show that other guy (the jumper-- lets call him John. Lets call the car owner Bob) the hard way. Impact.

So Bob and myself go to my house to make his paint slick. We did. Cleaner wax via D/A plus 2 coats of NXT plus a coat of Carnauba wax plus UQD made it pretty slippery. a few hours later, John decides to try to run up the hood and onto the roof. After falling flat on his face, he slid off the car and hit the ground.

I recieved so many kudos for that one. The car looked good, Bob learned his lesson, and it was all in good fun... Happy ending IMO...

Ok, here you go guys. I use my truck at work. They give us a little hand cart to take down the trash, but not me,

On break I clayed the doors, there were more specks underneath the wather stripping. I did the afternoon trash after lunchtime and we had a local car show going on today and a Chevy SS going through drive-thru told me I had the cleanest F-150 he's ever seen.
