UUhhhhh... Use regular wash soap and a DEDICATED mitt.

If you have such bad brake dust that it wont cut it, then use SG diluted (try 4:1, then 2:1, then 1:1 then straight-- least aggressive first)

If that doesnt work, then go to something else....like APC+

P21S is pretty good stuff... it is far superior to the Wheel Brightener, IMO.

That said, I still would defer to Ryan's preferred method of just cleaning them with good ole' fashioned elbow grease as none of the 'spray on and and spray off' products that I've tried have been worth much at all.

303 Aerospace Cleaner (APC) is my choice. You can use it anywhere you can use plain water. Cleans well, excellent dilution ratios, and is extremely safe.

I never have to think, or worry when I grab this cleaner and spray it on something.

Clean the wheels up, then apply a sealant. You shouldnt need anything else besides regular car soap and water.

Well I'll be the first to say, YES. I think it works very well. If they aren't too dirty it will be a spray on pressure wash off. If they are really bad, I still use the wheel brightner but a dedicated mitt to rub.

I'd say try the 32 OZ sample bottle. Then if you like it, go for the gallon.

I dont have very bad brake dust b/c I dont drive. I have some APC+. I bought it to whitening my letters on my tires. Are you guys saying that this is also safe to use on my factory rim? If so, at what ratio for the wheel and what ratio for the tire. Thumper recommened 4:1 for the letters on the tire but what about the wheel

Just me... I wouldn't recommend APC+ for wheels...

Basically, if you think about it, on a clearcoated wheel, you're basically spraying the stuff on paint. I don't think that any of us here would clean our vehicles with APC+ at any dilution.

Wheel cleaners are typically formulated for effective brake dust removal... APCs aren't really formulated along those lines.

That said... scrap the APC+ on the wheels as it's just not a good choice of chems for that application.

Speaking of APC+... why isn't it on Meg's website any longer? I only see APC. Did I miss something? Did APC+ get the snub?

Thank you. I will continue to use my all wheel cleaner until its done, then I will try maybe the wheel brightner. Im just going to use the APC + for the letters on the tires.

I agree. I like APC+ much better than SG though.

Well...note that I put it last on the list... If SG at 1:1 didnt cut it, APC+ may be the only hope short of surgery...

Anywho, APC+ better not be D/C'd... If it is, I need to get the 5 gallon barrel of it before its impossible to find...keep us (well, at least me) posted on the events relating to more discontinued products.

Speaking of which, has anybody noticed that lately the new products arent as good as the ones being discontinued??? Seems odd to snub the good ones (ie: Citri-gel, #16, MPPP, etc) and replace with stuff like aerosol versions of QD, QWD, etc... Granted, stuff like the HotRims metal polish and Quik out were nice, but I guess those are comparing A-line to professional... Thinking as I type, so I know it is nonsensical... I'lls hut up for the greater good now...
