Quick pad clean?

A guy I work with wants me to "Wash and Wax" his 95 Tacoma. I can't do that, it's either all or nothing. He gave me a 160$ amp for the deal, so I figure I should go all out. Problem is, most of my pads are dirty from the other night. Is there any way I can clean them up quickly? They're just caked with product.

Thanks

attworth,

When I want to thoroughly clean my pads, I do the following:

Wearing chemical gloves, I put a few drops of Dawn on each pad.

Then I put the pad in hot water, and work the Dawn into the pad so that the Dawn is saturated throughout the entire pad.

I let them sit for a while in the hot water.

Then holding the pad vertically, I "squeeze" the pads from top to bottom working the Dawn and polish out of the pad.

Rinse thoroughly, and treat again if necessary.

I slap on my pads on the rotary and "sling" them dry.

With most of my rotary pads, I use a spurring tool to remove the majority of product, and then do the above process if I'm not going to reuse the same product on a pad.
