memorial weekend detail w/ pics

okay so my process was 1. wash w/ combination of rain-x wash and wax and megs deep crystal wash

2. clay which left smears b/c QD evaporated extremely fast in the heat so i gotta fix that

3. polish w/ turtle wax premium rubbing compound (clearcoat safe)

4. nxt 2.0

5. megs gold class

6. another coat of nxt 2.0 (felt i was lacking in protection)

so heres the few pics

I suspect there's more wax on your truck than there is on 99% of the other '95's that are still on the road......

Looks pretty darn good, man.

Just goes to show that procedure is 100X more powerful than brand. I say that because you will not often hear folks talking about Turtle Wax products and, when they do, some will be quick to rip on them...

You took a product that most would never consider using and made it work for your application by using good technique...

Heck man, it's a great job! What can I say?

thanks man, and for everyone considering nxt 2.0 it goes on extremely easy, removes easier and a little goes a very very long way with this stuff and it brings a ton of depth to the paint, and then after it cured and i topped it off with the gold class, the flake started to pop and now im hooked, i am going to do my dads car tommorow in hopes of great results

Looks great

I do love that body style. Maybe even better than the current one. Course it could just be that my first truck looked a lot like that one. lol

thanks alot guys, it took me about 4-5 hours start to finish using a cheap orbital buffer and suprisingly i got a lot more swirls out of the paint than i had intended to, still need to get my hands on a DA, just looking for the right price
