Attended a Meguiar's Detailing Class Today
...and had a freaking blast! Mike Phillips gave the class, and it was really informative. It was their "intro/basic" class so I probably only really learned (I counted) 2 things that were new to me, but it definitely helped me to get a deeper, more accurate understanding of MANY things.
It was also awesome to be able to pick that guy's LOADED brain about products and methods.
They also serve AWESOME pizza and donuts, along with a free goody bag.
Oh, and did I mention I was lucky enough to walk away with a FREE 10 oz bottle of the NOT YET RELEASED D151? NEINER NEINER!!!
I can't wait to give that stuff a shot... (In case you don't follow the Meguair's forums, it is a special Paint Reconditioning Cream that is said to have a cut on par with M105, with the finishing ability of something fine like Scratch-X, AND it leaves a protective wax in ONE STEP!!)

They will, on occasion, host off-site classes but, they're fairly rare. When they do, they'll typically team with a larger authorized vendor of their stuff and use their facilities.
When I was moderating at MOL, I had the luck of going out to Irvine for the 3-day advanced class... Here are a few snapshots:
