Doesn't look that bad to me. Looks like her paint transfered.
Hard to tell really, does the other color on yours feel raised?
Do this little test. Clean that section. then take some Lacquer Thiner and put some on a old MF and try to gently remove some of the transfered paint. If it comes off, you are lucky...do that to all the transfered paint. Then wash again, and find a friend to has a DA or a Flex polisher and have them polish it out.
That is what I would do....
Know any OCD detailing members in the area?

Hehe... thats just my ol crappy nextel i880 camera phone. There are a few deep scratches that appear to be showing metal. I haven't touched it yet though because the insurance claim guy hasn't seen it yet. It really doesn't look that bad but it irritates me so much I wont even drive the truck until its fixed.

Better yet, get the insurance money for it. Then, come on here and try RR's suggestions as to how to remove the paint transfer. If it still looks like crap, then use the insurance money to fix it with new paint. If it all comes out good, then take the money and buy more beer and mods.
Also, your picture is linked to Photobucket... They resize pics for free and it'll keep the same link. Just click on edit photo (from your photobucket account) then resize.

Res is fine at 800x600. When you post huge pics, it spreads the whole forum table and gives the whole thread a horizontal scroll bar which is a PITA to work with just to read posts!
Is there any way you can take pics that don't reflect pavement, trees, etc.? I can't tell what's a reflection and what's damage.
